From Townhead in the centre of Kirkintilloch turn into Southbank Road, then left into Southbank Drive. Pass the Police Station then right into Strathkelvin Place until you come to the Southbank Marina. Those travelling from the motorway, follow signs for Kirkintilloch, then for the Marina. (The Council Office next to us is also signposted.) Located inside the marina buildings is a lounge area with toilet facilities which are available for passengers to wait in comfort before or after their cruise. The boats leave from the pontoon on the right of the marina.

Parking:

Spaces are available in the car park on the street side of the buildings surrounding the marina.

Our Cruises:

The two boats can be booked separately or together from the first week in April until the second week in October. A sailing Westerly towards Bishopbriggs, lasts approximately two hours but can be shortened by arrangement at the time of booking. As a result of the COVID guidance the morning cruises will be shortened by half an hour to arrive back at the Marina by 12.30 to facilitate a deeper clean of the boats between sailings.

Departs:

Mon – Fri 11am, 1.30pm, 4pm, 6pm* (*June, July August only)   More flexible cruises available at weekends by arrangement.

Santa Cruises:

Late November until first week of December (Weather Permitting). During the cruise Santa makes an appearance with his sack of gifts.

Our Boats:

We have two boats at Kirkintilloch the Yarrow Seagull, and the Marjorie Seagull. Both are fully accessible with lifts to accommodate those with mobility problems or in wheelchairs. Each has a wheelchair friendly toilet and a galley. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
